Bryan Lawhorn is a native Texan and a long-time resident of Elgin, where he has been an active part of the community for over 25 years. A multi-talented individual, Bryan has balanced a professional career spanning business intelligence, accounting, and real estate with a lifelong passion for music. As an organizer for the Elgin Music Festival, he combines his professional expertise and artistic background to help bring the festival’s vision to life.
Bryan’s musical journey began in 1994 with his first band, sparking a passion for the recording arts that has carried through his life. Over the years, he has been part of numerous bands, including the well-known group Foot Foot, and continues to play an active role in the local music scene with his new band, Cash Price.
Beyond his musical endeavors, Bryan has a strong commitment to his community. Whether working in real estate or advocating for civil liberties, he is dedicated to building meaningful connections and helping others reach their goals. His work with the ACLU, as well as his contributions to preserving Elgin’s unique culture, underscores his drive to make a positive impact.
With a reputation for integrity, resilience, and creativity, Bryan brings a unique perspective to the Elgin Music Festival. His ability to connect with people through music and shared stories makes him a vital part of the team and the broader Elgin community.
