Krista Lee Marx is a powerhouse of organizational expertise and community dedication. With over 30 years of experience in education and leadership development, including her current role as a Senior Organizational Learning and Development Specialist with the Texas Association of School Boards, Krista excels in fostering teamwork, creating impactful programs, and mentoring others to achieve their full potential.

Krista’s contributions extend far beyond her professional career. As a longtime volunteer for the American Cancer Society, she has served in numerous capacities, including Relay For Life Event Leadership Team (ELT) member, ACS Area Board Member, and ACS-CAN advocate. Her tireless dedication earned her the prestigious St. George’s Award in 2019, as well as recognition as a Global Hero of Hope. Krista is also a cancer survivor, a testament to the transformative power of the initiatives she supports.

In her role with the Elgin Music Festival, Krista draws on her deep roots in the Elgin community and her unmatched ability to build meaningful connections. Her passion for the arts and her commitment to creating spaces for collaboration and celebration make her an integral part of the festival’s mission.
